Well, another day is over and it would be so easy to be discouraged with how little I got accomplished today. However, both the children were fed and bathed today and that in itself is worth feeling good about! Now if only I could manage to bathe as well!
As for the goals I set for myself today... I can't say I was very successful in staying awake while Bubba was up, however, Bubba climbed up on my lap and fell asleep as well, so I won't let the guilt consume me.
I did very well with the second goal. After unpacking Joey's suitcase, I was able to get the linen closet unpacked, the dishes rinsed, much of the garbage picked up from the living room, our home phone and voice mail set up, and more of the boys room put away. It is amazing how proud I can be of baby steps.
Well, Joey is being difficult to put to bed, he still isn't asleep yet and it is after ten. And of course, Baby Nick is also screaming his head off, so who can sleep anyway! They're still so easy to love, though. God is so good!
