Happy New Year

Seeing as its New Year's Eve, and that it is totally unusual (yeah right!), we decided to let the boys stay up until midnight. It looks like Little Guy made it and Bubba conked out early!
What the picture doesn't show is that this was actually at 5pm, and Bug had just woken up from a nap and Joey hadn't yet taken one!

I know I show a lot of pictures with them sitting together, but it is not because I pose them this way. I think it is extraordinarily cute that every time I set Baby Nick in the chair, Joey says "Want to sit with Brother." And he climbs up in the chair with him. That is why I take pictures like this.

Joey has always shown a tendency to mix up the sounds in his words (much like Mommy, Aunt Aubrey, Nanny, and Aunt Megan.) One of the things he says a lot now, whether he is throwing something at me, or making sure I'm okay, he says, "I jocka." Which means "I gotchya." Again, he is switching the 'ch' sound in the middle for the 'g' sound in the beginning. It's not a perfect match, but its close enough.

Since it is now technically the New Year.....HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! May this year bring you closer to all those that you love, especially to your God.
