I left out an interesting tidbit about my time at the restaraunt with the ladies of the church last Saturday....
As the group was breaking up and getting ready to leave, there was some buzz around us about a 'someone famous' being at the restaraunt. There, just a few feet away from us, was Alan Thicke. He is most well known as being the father on the TV series Growing Pains for those of you who know of that show. Apparently, they are opening a new Boys & Girls Club and he was here fundraising. He may not be an A-lister, but he's the most 'famous' person I have ever been in the vicinity with. It was kind of exciting.
