Daddy's Coming Home!!

We are so very excited up here! Daddy is coming home tonight!!! In fact, we will pick him up in about eight hours. I will give the boys their baths and put them to bed like usual, and when it is time, I will pull the car out of the garage and make sure it is toasty warm, and one at a time, carry a sleepy child out to buckle them in. We will have our own little midnight adventure to the airport. Every morning, Joey has woken up and said, "I miss my daddy." I miss him too.

As a treat, I gave the children a piece of chocolate after lunch. I broke a small piece off for Baby Nick and placed it in his mouth. For the independent little tyke, this was not acceptable. Therefore, he took it back out of his mouth and licked it until it was a melty, messy goo all over. But he enjoyed it so much, and is so precious looking, that I couldn't really be mad. Kids will be kids. So, of course, I had to show you a picture of him all messy.

Hope everyone has a great week next week. Sorry, Mom, that your son had to leave again...but I sure am glad he's coming home.
