Happy Birthday, Sarina!

Happy Birthday, Sarina! I am so sorry we are not there to help you celebrate. We are thinking of you every day and missing you so much. You are getting to be such a big girl (not that I would know....your mom hasn't sent me any recent pictures! [hint, hint]).

I just wanted to share with the world some of my favorite pictures of you...let you know how much we love you. I hope you have an exciting birthday and a fabulous year! We can't wait to see you again.

Since Sarina is only two weeks older than Joey, we have lots of 'comparison' pictures.
Here is our 'punk' baby. I love how her hair stood straight out until it grew longer.
Here is the first occasion where Sarina proved she would spend her life picking on Joey; she stole his fireman's hat off his head. You can see how much she enjoyed it, too! :)
Here she is reveling in her conquest.
Sorry to say, Uncle Josh, but she looks completely bored at your birthday party!
For Papa Scott's 50th birthday, we spent the day with him at the park. Sarina enjoyed the swings.
Sarina and Joey were two of Aunt Megan's biggest fans at sporting events.
She seems to enjoy her new hat and gloves. Isn't she the cutest?
Both kids show a strong interest in music. Perhaps this picture is prophetic.
I like a women who knows how to enjoy her cake!
Isn't Nanny the best? Nanny is playing 'Ring Around The Rosey' with Sarina and Joey.
Sarina is such a doll! This was one of the last times Joey got to play with Sarina before leaving for Alaska.

We sure miss you Sarina! Happy Birthday.

I put Megan's laptop on the kitchen table so we could all view the pictures. We sat around and had a good laugh (mostly at Rina's hair). We really missed having you at the party (and Megan, and Paul and Ange). You were with us in spirit and in blog-land. Thank you for that - it was priceless.
Love,
Mom
