The Funniest Thing

This morning, when Baby Nick woke up from his first nap, I went upstairs to get him, and saw the funniest thing. Baby Nick was standing up waiting to be freed, but his pants were down around his ankles! That's right....a not quite ten month old baby was standing in his crib half dressed when he went down for his nap fully clothed. The only logical explanation is that, as he tried standing up, his feet got caught inside his pants, and the higher he stood up, the lower his pants fell down. It cracked me up.

Baby Nick has finally learned to give kisses. He has been giving kisses for the last few weeks, but until then, he refused. Joey was giving kisses by four months. It is incredibly sweet to see Baby Nick give Bubba kisses! I'm also trying to teach him to say "mama" (of course...it should be his first word.) Every time I start saying "mama", Joey chimes in with, "Can you say Bubba?" So, poor Baby Nick has Mommy saying "mama" in one ear, and Joey saying "Bubba" in the other.

It was gray again today, but the sun came out this evening. Although there are lots of clouds, it is still brighter than it has been in over a week. According to the forecast, it should be partly cloudy the next couple days, but then showers the rest of the week. Oh well.

Seventeen days. (You know what I mean.)

Have a wonderful week.
