Only A Week To Go

I can hardly breathe through the excitement. Angie will be here in a week from today. Okay...actually, since it is now after midnight, she will be here in about six days from two hours from now!! Joey is "gonna be so excited". He talks about our paper chain every day, in a way of reminding me how soon she will be here.

I am also really excited for Uncle John and Aunt Cindy to be here. They should arrive tomorrow. Although their vacation is not to see us, they will be around here for a few days and should be able to get together. It will be so nice to see them.

There is not much going on around here. Just getting ready to have company. Trying to survive those days like today when neither of my sons seem manageable. It's not that they do anything that is "major", but all those little things add up. Some days they just push all my wrong buttons, and they don't stop until bedtime. Sometimes, even after bedtime!

I would say that I will try to get to bed a little earlier tonight, but it is already 12:30am and I am usually in bed by 1am. Plus, I can hear Baby Nick fuss now and again, which means I won't get any sleep again tonight. He is having a restless night, so I will have a restless night. I was hoping I would be up with him six times again tonight like I was last night, but it doesn't look promising. Oh well! I can try to sleep when I have an empty nest.
