Tuckered Out

The day we played out in the snow, Nick came home from lunch because I needed the car to go grocery shopping. So, on our way back to the house to get warm, Nick showed up, so we left right away, never getting a chance to warm up. After dropping Nick back off at work, we went straight to the store and it was late afternoon before we got back. Joey was exhausted! As I was putting groceries away, Joey sat in the chair with his baby brother....this is what happened.

He fell asleep right on Bug! Too bad Bug was getting uncomfortable, because I had to slide him out from under Bubba, which woke Bubba up, so he only got a three minute nap!

Joey loves to "play the tubop." He takes the turkey baster out of the drawer, sticks the end in his mouth and hums the VeggieTales theme song tune. He usually asks me to sing "talk a mato" while he is playing his "tubop." When I get to the end of the first part, Joey smiles big and says, "Jew gob, Mommy." Translation: Good Job. (He mixes up the beginning sounds!)

I am still trying to capture a good video of Bug in action...but the only action I get out of him while the camera is rolling is screaming (which is only slightly less fun watching than hearing) or spitting up (which is not pleasant.) So one of these days, I will post a video of Bug so you can see how "busy" he is.

I get to pick up our family pictures today! That means I should have Christmas cards out in the mail by tomorrow! I am so excited to get pictures back, they are so cute. Nick should be here in a few minutes to drop the van off, so I better get the boys ready. It takes about ten minutes to pack up!
