This blog is just a collection of rambling thoughts and memories; a way to share our lives with friends and family. Our family consists of Nick, Trinity, Joseph, Nicholas, Ethan, and Andrew. Not only do the kids out number the parents, the boys far out number the girls. I stand alone. Therefore, I also use this blog as, sometimes, my one tie to sanity. So peruse at your leisure, and sometimes, at your own risk.

Freezing Cold
If you wonder how cold I get up here, maybe this picture will help illustrate for me. This is a picture of the door frame from the inside. In my vast knowledge of household hardware, I know that the pictured part is called the striker. (Of course, my brother-in-law Gary was the source of this knowledge. I have to give credit where credit is due.)
If you can make it out, the white that you see on the striker is not just a reflection, or even a worn spot. No....it is a fairly thick layer of FROST. Yes, frost....on the inside, where we try keep it about 70 degrees. No wonder I spend my days shivering in the cold while fully bundled!
